Senior Adults
Led by Jeff Hutchins
The mission of the Adult Ministry of Christ Redeemer Church is to empower our members to grow in their faith and knowledge of the Lord. We want our adults to serve the Lord and our community. We do this by providing opportunities for mission, ministry, worship, fellowship, spiritual growth, teaching, mentoring, and giving of our time, talents, and tithe.
We begin our newest study in Hebrews on Sunday mornings. The book of Hebrews was written mainly to the Hebrew believers. The author is anonymous, although either Paul or Barnabas was traditionally accepted as the author. The author was writing to a group of Christians who were under intense persecution and some were contemplating a return to Judaism. The writer explains that the New Covenant is greater than the Old Covenant because Jesus was the perfect, permanent sacrifice, rather than the Old Testament sacrifices. The author also presents the power and authority of the Word of God, “For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart” (4:12). Join us as we journey through the Book of Hebrews!
We meet every Sunday morning during the Small Group hour from 9:00-9:50 a.m., followed by Worship from 10:00-11:00 am.

The Screwtape Letters by C.S Lewis is a brilliant and satirical look at spiritual warfare and the dynamics of temptation. Join us for a study that examines each letter through a Christian
lens of morality, temptation, and good and evil.
We meet every Sunday morning during the Small Group hour from 8:45-9:45 a.m., followed by Worship from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
